    Sad, I remember getting dinner there when I worked at the Deaconess in the 80's and 90's. Food always good and always nice to see Sami.

      OK JJBourgeois, here's a blast: did you ever have a rollup from that cart that sold on the quad in front of the school of public health in the 80s? They had a curried chicken salad rollup that I've dreamed about. I'd alternate lunch there with Sami's and was very happy. Do you remember the rollups/ know the name of the purveyor/ know where they went?

      Yes, Sami was a charming guy and a trailblazer for Middle Eastern chow in this city. He should be missed, and remembered.

        Loved Sami's truck when I worked on Longwood in 1983!!
