NPR: How To Save A Public Library: Make It A Seed Bank

Today I was pointed toward a couple articles about public libraries "loaning" seed. The ones mentioned are Basalt Regional Library in Western Colorado and the someone in the comments section says that La Crosse WI is about to launch this service too. There may be 15 or more programs like this --- is there one in your area?

Omigosh. This is a beyond-fabulous idea.

I will be thinking on how to help implement this locally. Nice idea, Melanie.

I don't garden, but I loved the idea and wanted to pass it on.

          Go for it!
