Hello COTM participants and followers --

The process for choosing a book for March should begin soon, in the next 7 days would probably be ideal. Someone needs to step in to coordinate for the 6 months of March through August 2013.

As they say on the Internets: discuss.

Thanks to you both for coordinating the COTM threads. I love to follow even when I don't have the cookbook.

Just out of curiosity, what is involved in coordinating the thread?

It's not hard. LulusMom, who has coordinated, noted that it just takes being organized mostly.
My plan was:
A post to announce nominations are open (around the 10th of the month.) About five days later, a post announcing the close of nominations. Then, a post to vote on the top nominations. About five days later, announce the winner.
Then, on the first of the month, set up posts for reports -- appetizers & soups & salads might be one post, then a separate one for fish & poultry, then desserts. Place a post in the Home Cooking "Quick Links" to inform everyone.
You're done 'til the 10th of the next month. It's a 6 month commitment, but it goes fast!

Sounds fun! Maybe I'll throw my hat in six months from now. I'm fairly new around here, so I'll have a bit more experience by then.
