Hello folks,

I am trying to go gluten free to check if it affects my ulcerative colitis any way. I have been trying different gluten free white bread recipes from the web but haven't had luck to say "wow".

Would love to have your best gluten-free white bread recipe.

Thanks in advance.

I would try baking the Bouchon gluten free brioche in a loaf pan. I have only made it as rolls. It is the best glutenfree bread I have ever had. I sub olive oil for butter and add herbs.

Thanks maxie! I've never tried Cup 4 Cup although I have heard of it. I had no idea about the correlation with Thomas Keller. I can not wait to try this now and will definitely try the brioche!

I usually just buy the Udi's white sandwich bread. I have a friend who bakes often and she swore by Pamela's Bread Mix so I finally bought it and made it. It was definitely delicious and easy to make. I've only made it once and, for whatever reason, I made it in muffin tins. I got muffin shaped bread loaves (not the ideal shape for bread!) I will make it in a loaf pan next time.
