hitting the town & dining b4 concert @ TD Bank

Greeting foodies!!

The north shore girls and I are getting ready to hit the town in two weeks on a Wed evening...limo and all!! (so parking wont be an issue)...We are seeing a show at TD Bank and will have time to grab dinner and some drinks around 6:00. Traditionally, we go into the North End for Italian, but this time thinking of switching up locations, still keeping with Italian...although open to new ideas too!! would prefer to stay closer to TD Bank so maybe back bay newbury st/beacon Hill, even south end...I'm sure so many new places have probably opened within the last year, can't wait to hear your suggestions, Looking forward to them!!

Eat Drink and be merry!
Lisa :)

If Italian it is and you are willing to do the South End, I would recommend Cinquecento which is the perfect spot for a group of ladies. Good food, good, lively atmosphere. http://www.cinquecentoboston.com/

Interesting!! How long has that been open?! ...not sure i've heard of it in the recent? But I have been to Aquittaine and loved it, so very curious as to how the chef up Italian...?! Is it on the swanky side, we'll be all Lady Gaga'd out for the show? (tastefully of course, no meat dresses for us)

It's the old Rocco (Tiffani Faison) space

Does it *have* to be Italian??

Doesn't have to be Italian...if its worth it, we'd be open to other food options! upscale gastropubs seems to be "lighting" up all over town too which are a nice alternative too...again, open to suggestions!
