Fresh Gnocchi to buy anywhere? Or should I just make it?

Anybody know where I can buy fresh gnocchi in the area? Just found a recipe that calls for it. I'm in the Lambertville vicinity but I could do a trip to Philly. Thanks!

P & S makes very good pasta.

It's been some years since I was in their Torresdale Ave store, and have never had their gnocchi, but I recall their ravioli as being good. It looks like they have 5 locations now.

P&S is also sold frozen in many supermarkets.

In Doylestown Altomante's markets carry's a bunch of their products. I think it is highly unlikely you will find someone selling fresh gnocchi, but you will have choices of frozen (may be ok) and dry (avoid.). You might also call Talluto's over in Norristown, though I only recall seeing fresh pasta dough, ravioli and shells.

I thought the P&S stores sold non-frozen product? They did years ago, as I said, it's been a while.

I've tried recipes here, and there. The "difficult" part is the actual forming of the gnocchi. Practice is all it takes.

I have seen them in the refrigerated section of Whole Foods. I prefer to make them so I can't say if the gnocchi at WF is decent.

I've only ever seen them frozen at Superior and Talluto's in the Italian Market and at Pasta by George in the RTM.
