Amsterdam on a Sunday night - where to eat??
Hello,
the topic says it all: I'll be in Amsterdam on a Sunday and need recommenadations for a restaurant. Preferably fine dining. Everything seems to be closed, except for a renowned japanese place at the Okura hotel...
Thank you!

Proeverij 274- was the yummiest food we ate.

Both Lof & De Kas are closed on sundays. And Lof is really not that awesome anymore. Kas location is great, food is moderate.
Lastage is great but almost always fully booked (> month in advance). Baut (bautamsterda.nl) is new and really good food and important affordable. So is Rijssel too. With Serre, Wilde Zwijnen the places to choose from by my opinion. -
Well, lots and LOTS of places are open on a Sunday.
Here are a few of my favorites.Serre Restaurant, also at the Okura, is wonderful (their Bibendum menu, 3 courses for 35 euros, is one of the best deals in town)

I've never been, but it's been getting very good reviews and is definitely in the fine dining category

Haven't been in a few years (but have been there a bunch), so check if they're open and still in business:
LOF (very small, very limited menu, very awesome)
Haarlemmerstraat 62, Jordaan, 620-2997
Dinner Tue-SunDe Kas (20 minute bike ride south of town, WONDERFUL dining experience)
Kamerlingh Onneslaan 3, East, 462-4562
