Agree with the Angela's suggestion. Santarpios has been inconsistent with the few times I have been there. If you are in Peabody there are three places that needs to be on your radar: Royal Garden for the Mai Thais, Champions Pub for the Steak Tips and Pellana which to me is Abe and Louie's - North Shore

I've only been to the Eastie one once, but I've been to the Peabody locations many times and it consistently serves excellent pizzas (especially their homemade sausage) and by far the best pizza on the North Shore. However, you need to eat it there, and not because of the ambiance. This pizza has to be eaten immediately out of the oven. It won't even travel 10 minutes well.

I've only been there a few times. The first couple of times I thought the pizza was great..different than what I was used to. After a couple of visits however..the novelty wore off. Plus, the problem is that when on route 1..there are too many other tempting places.
The pizza in Eastie must be very different since people rave so much about it. I know there are at least 6 other places I would visit for pizza before I would go back to Santarpio's in Peabody.
