Two reservations needed

I need two reservations

The first one has to be in walking distance to the Roosevelt hotel. Which is on east 45th, on like Vanderbilt

Second one needs to be with in walking distance to 27th and 5th.

Does Eataly know how to keep a reservation

At the Roosevelt you're very close to La Fonda del Sol. I'd recommend dinner in the tapas lounge.

      You should consider The NoMad.

Yes, the NoMad would be a good fit for the 27th and 5th requirement.

Why wouldn't it? I've never encountered a problem. And as kathryn said, only Manzo and Birreria take reservations.

my wife was there the other day alone at Bierreria She was able to get up in the elevator by herself. However, she overheard people with a reservation causally being told, it would be another 45 minutes before their table would be ready. I didn't know if this was the norm or not.

Not the norm for me at all. Maybe there was another side of the story your wife did not hear?

There are a lot of decent Japanese restaurants including Sushi Yasuda and Sakagura near Roosevelt hotel.

How far in advance are you planning? For how many people? What kind of food? What's your budget?

Only Birreria and Manzo at Eataly take reservations. They're both using Urbanspoon. I haven't heard any complaints about lost reservations...?

One is for the 6th, one is for the 12th. My budget is not over the top as I am not on an expense account. But, like 60 bucks a head with limited drinking seems about right.

Is Bar Room at the Modern too far to walk for you?
