Glass of wine near Yonge and Eglinton?

I'm trying to find a place for a glass of wine with a business contact during the afternoon on a weekday. We'll be at Yonge and Eglinton. The Rose and Crown is a bit grotty - any other options in that area? A lot of places don't open til 5 unfortunately.

Thanks for all your suggestions - I ended up going to the Keg which was perfect. The only problem was that they cranked up the music at around 4 which made it really hard to hear. There were a few tables of business people having quiet chats so I am not sure why they felt the need to blast the music. But it was definitely comfortable sitting in the lounge.

There is also Coquine which is an ok spot for a drink.

I would suggest the Keg also...nice large lounge area where you can speak freely and in comfort.

ITA with The Keg suggestion as well, however, if I recall, they close after lunch and re-open at 4.30. I don't know if that is "afternoon" enough for you.

Duke of Kent at Yonge and Roehampton (1 block north of Eglinton)... It's a pub but it's nicer than the Rose and Crown and will be nice and quiet on a weekday afternoon.

Maybe Lil Baci Taverna or Grano? I often go to Grano when I just want to meet someone for a dessert & coffee. Grano seems to be open all afternoon. http://www.grano.ca/contact.php
