best tapas or gastropubs for 10 person birthday celebration?

my birthday is in a few weeks and i've been surfing the board for some good ideas and havent been impressed with too many of the suggestions. Stanton Social seems to be the only one I would enjoy going that isnt ridiculously priced. I'm looking for a place with a nice ambiance, good food, but I don't want people paying more than 50$ for food (alcohol not included in that). We are 10 25-year olds and it seems maybe a tapas place or a gastropub will fit the bill. any other suggestions?

Tertulia takes dinner reservations for groups of 6 or more only, up to two weeks in advance to the date.
