Bo Laksa

Stopped in today for a bowl of noodles and met the new owners, who told me they took the place over in November. They told me Bo was off traveling in SE Asia. Any idea why Bo left?

Same here GE. Must confess my visits to the Hastings spot were too few and far between compared to the original venue on Joyce.

Bo told me he was just on a "extended holiday" and intends to come back. Perhaps he changed his mind. He was getting into the gemstone business in Northern Thailand.

Last I heard he was returning in January, I thought to continue cooking at BLK. Sad that I didn't get a chance for a farewell meal.
