Melbourne Food & wine festival 2012

Are any of the 2013 offerings "worth the effort"? I'll be in the region for Wed-Sun nights. Thought of taking in Patch to Plate at Fed Square. Budget is limited, and I'll be severely jet lagged after 14 hr flight from west coast of NA.

Have to be honest, most of the big name/ venue stuff doesn't do much for me. I usually pick one or two of the smaller venue meals as they are better value and not as pretentious.

This year I think I will do the Commoner or Middle Park
