Fat Tuesday dining recommendations?

Hi Chowhounders,

I live in northern California but will be in the Bay Area on Tues Feb 12. I realize that this is Fat Tuesday and so was wondering if you have any suggestions of appropriate places to dine. I'll be staying in Berkeley but have a car and don't mind going in to the city if necessary. I'm coming down to attend my naturalization ceremony at the Paramount in Oakland (I'm becoming a citizen!) so would like somewhere a bit special--is there anywhere that fits the bill?
