Sushi Union Squarish area [San Francisco]

So coming back to Sf in Feb. We have all our high end stuff planned. I would love a great sushi rec. . Here is the thing while I'm a sushi purist my friend 1 Loves rolls and 2 has an extreme sensitivity to Horse Radish ...she can taste the amount of Wasabi on the person's roll to our left..(You think I'm kidding)

I would love to bring her to some place great. We are staying in SOMA and will have a car.

Again just like my higher dinning thread ...thanks in advance you have all been great.

  1. SF isn't a great sushi town. In the SOMA area, Ozumo is very pricey but acceptable. With rolls as well as sashimi and nigiri.

Thanks for that ...after talking to her no sushi

So what are you going to eat now if you can't have sushi?

          Atelier Cren
          Hog Island
          Cowboy Creamery
          Witch Craft

and I'm replacing Sushi with A mission burrito (never had one or been to the mission district in all our visits)

or you have a suggestion by all means bring it. She is moving to NY after this so this our last SF adventure for a bit.

Replace Hog Island with Swan's - more quintessential San Francisco; better oysters, more atmosphere, and just plain fun.

Witch Craft is just plain boring. Consider Naked Lunch instead.

I will try naked lunch. We have to go to Witch Craft because Jenice loves it ....I love her; so guess where we are going ?

but researching naked lunch right now:) and we can deff. fit it in.

Thanks, that's the kinda stuff I want.
