Cutting board from Lonestarartisans.com

  • 2

Received my end grain cutting board from Lone Star Artisans last night and it is beautiful! Please check this fella out, his boards are so nice and can be customized. Here is the link to the board I purchased if anyone is interested (I had a juice groove cut into mine but no feet so I can use both sides): http://www.lonestarartisans.com/produ...

**Please excuse my counter/cookware/junk in the pics...I was cleaning out a cabinet and moving around stuff, I do not normally just leave pots laying around! Though my stock pot is featuring prominently on the stove at this time :)

  1. Wow gorgeous board! I like my boards 3" thick but I can understand why others want thinner boards. Cook up some board butter/wax and take care of it and it should serve you well for many years.

Thanks! I have tried a variety of sizes and for me the height is just right so that when cutting/chopping, etc., I do not feel like my elbow is up above my ears! The 1" and below boards are too thin and the 2.5' and up just don't feel right. I am not very tall I guess :)
