Weight Loss Apps
I'm preparing for my annual spring weight loss. Like animals who put on weight in preparation for the winter austerity and take it off as spring approaches, this is a good time.
I've used Weight Watchers app in the past, but I've grown annoyed with their tight ties to commercially prepared foods and fast food chains. It was hard to find just the simple foods I cook with and eat.
I've had two apps recommended: "My Fitness Pal" and "Lose it." Does anyone have any experience with either one - what works and doesn't work about each?
Or is there another app that you've used and like that I should look into and download?
Thanks in advance.

re: momjamin
Unfortunately the sparkpeople app isn't free anymore, I believe it's $5. That being said, I still use it and like it. I'm an online user as well (which is all free), and pretty active over there, so it's nice to have access to the tracker etc while I'm on the go.
My only complaint is that the tracker app does not sync with my sparkrecipes.com account, like it does online, so I cannot enter the recipes I've built in the recipe builder on sparkrecipes on my phone, I have to do it online. Once they are in the tracker, I can copy or move them around on the phone.
