Where are the fried clams? There is no seafood restaurant so far near me and I'm so bummed! Any recommendations?

Salmon Run Fishhouse in Lee has good, fresh seafood. It's right on the Main street there. It may not be Cape Ann, but for that area it's fine.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will definitely give it a try. I don't need fancy, just good.

We love The Woodland in Lakeville, CT for the calamari and other seafood dishes, but not sure about fried clams. Nearby, also in Lakeville, The Boathouse has fried clams. Both places are really top notch if you like a lovely setting and many choices, although The Woodland is much better in terms of the food. Lakeville is a short drive from Great Barrington.

Thanks. We love the sushi at the Woodland, but have heard iffy things about the Boathouse. What I am really looking for is an all-out clam shack kinda meal. You know.... chowder, fried clams, slaw, tartar sauce, beer. I crave it.
