      Ditto. Was hoping to find out what the locals thought about the choices. I did actually salivate when they were in Cochon...brought back good memories, especially since they ordered one of the dishes I had.

    2. Was glad to see Cafe Atchafalaya mentioned. Had an awesome meal there a couple of years ago.

      1. I'm not a local but I have visited on several occasions, and I think he totally nailed the experience of visiting the city (which is the point, right?). After seeing the episode I'm doubly looking looking forward to returning in a few months. Definitely will make a return trip (maybe two) to Cochon!

        By the way, while I definitely enjoyed this episode I have to say that it highlighted how lame the whole "layover" concept is. Is NOLA even a hub for any airlines? What's the probability of actually having a layover there?
