Looking for fresh or frozen. They are used in Thai cooking. Prefer somewhere in NDG or Westmount. Thanks.

  1. They have them fresh at Marché G&D in Chinatown, Marché Hawai in Ville St-Laurent, also probably at Marché Oriental. I sometimes just rip a leaf off of my lemon tree plant and use that, but it is not quite as tasty. After you've bought them fresh you can keep the rest frozen.

Also available at Thai Hour (Jean-Talon and St-Denis).

    2. Thanks. Will go to one of those in a pinch but none of those are in NDG or Westmount. Anyone help?

I haven't seen them anywhere in NDG or Westmount, unfortunately. You could try calling the Korean place on Sherbrooke near Grand.

I have found them at the Atwater market and the Asian store on decarie next to play it again sports.

Oh, I should have suggested Fruiterie Atwater at the market, great tip!

Might be too late for you, but for the record I just saw some fresh kaffir lime leaves in small baggies at Epicerie Coréenne in NDG - 6151, rue Sherbrooke Ouest.

        2. The produce store in Atwater Market has them, fresh.

          1. Not quite NDG, but close. Kim Phat on CDN has it, as does Kim Hour at Van Horne/Victoria
