Place for a 95th birthday celebration?

tallgene Jan 28, 2013 04:20 PM

We're looking for a location for our mother's 95th birthday celebration this June (she's an active 95). We expect between 25-30 guests; a private room would be a plus, but not a requirement. We would most prefer the west / south suburbs, though an exceptional spot in-town (particularly if parking is not a terrible issue) could be acceptable. We are open to either brunch/lunch or dinner.

Ages of attendees will range from 95 down to 2.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks.

The back room at Tosca in Hingham is lovely. Both Errol and Chris are great to work with, the food is fabulous and there is plenty of parking-though the lot can get crowded.

While the food can be mixed (great one day, just ok the next) Scarlet Oak (also in Hingham but right off the highway) has beautiful private rooms upstairs. Big parking lot along with valet in the evenings.
