Early seafood dinner near the orpheum theater

got tickets for a 7:30 concert at the orpheum in late march. we'll be staying near the common and would like something within walking distance of the venue. mostly interested in good seafood but moderately priced. any help is appreciated.

Chinatown is an easy walk and has lots of great inexpensive seafood options. I wake nightly dreaming of the S and P squid at the Best Little Restaurant.

Marliave has seafood offerings at varying price points in that neighborhood and I think they do a solid job on food there.

You are not too far from Chinatown either and you can definitely do some moderately priced seafood there.

i'm not cheap or anything. i just don't feel the need to spend 40.00 for an entree. mid 20's is fine. these days i consider that moderate.

really enjoyed my last meal at oceanaire. just quick apps at the bar, didnt get deep into the entrees, but we were pleasantly surprised. same thing - pre orpheum stop.

marliave, woodward, bistro du midi all have good seafood offerings but arent "seafood" restaurants per se. marliave has $1 oysters at happy hour i think

Oceanaire has good seafood and is walking distance but it does not qualify as moderately priced. There is very little in the way of moderately priced seafood that is walking distance from that part of town.
