Dumplings in beef stew? Or also known as I need an alternative to Cindy's Kitchen
Cindy's Kitchen in Rowland Heights makes a dish with pork dumplings in a big bowl of beef stew.
I like it fine enough, quite well in fact but was wondering if there are other iterations I can try out there.
I suppose I could just go to a place like Luscious or Mama's Lu or 101 Noodle and have them make it a la minute. But still ... That's so demanding.

Knowing 1/1,000,000,000 of what you know about food in the SGV, this idea would have been my first and only thought. Great dumplings, delicious renditions of stewed beef dishes, combine and devour?
It's actually a brilliant combo when you put your chopsticks down and think about it.
Instead of dipping the dumplings in soy sauce (as is par for the course), you just dunk them in beef stew (which is by all accounts 10x more savory and tasty than just a soy sauce dipping sauce), and when you have a half-bitten dumpling floating in the beef stew, you get all those good pork "juices" and its-bits from the dumpling filling spilling out and swimming around in the beef stew. Win win!
