Blis Fish Sauce ? Anyone tried it, or have any opinions on it ?
Blis fish sauce is red boat sauce (40) but aged an additional 7 months, anyone tried this ? How does it compare to traditional red boat or any other "premium" fish sauce ?
To be honest, I don't even know any other premium fish sauces, but would be interested in what is the best ones out there.

Red Boat, in its unaged state, is 3-4 times as expensive as 3 Crabs, Golden Boy, or Tiparos, and worth it.
Blis, at its ambitious price point may go beyond the point of diminishing returns.
I use Red Boat (40) fish sauce. It is pretty expensive so I probably wouldn't buy it unless I tried it and loved it (sampled or in a restaurant or something). I think Red Boat is great, though.

I received a bottle of BLiS' Barrel-Aged Fish Sauce, and it is quite spectacular in its pungency and smokiness (I think that's the word I'm looking for).
It's quite different from regular Red Boat. Not sure "better" is the right word, but it is certainly very quite interesting.
