What's the best meat to use to make shish kebabs. I have some prime rib - would it be too tender??
We usually use boneless chuck roast or sirloin, both of which are easily cut into cubes and will tenderize when marinated.
Is your prime rib boneless? If it's bone-in you'd face a tough task and much waste to cube it.
Prime rib would work just fine. We prefer flap meat above all other cuts for kebabs - it is always so juicy and tender, with just enough chew.
Yes! I finally special ordered flap to make shish kebabs. They were perfect.
