Joe's Crab Shack Lobster Pot Pie

seal Jan 24, 2013 02:25 PM

This may be one of the worst things I ever had at a chain. Who puts potatoes in a pot pie anyway? This thing was mostly potato too with only a few small pieces of lobster and it wasn't cheap.
I know I am picky so I look forward to others thoughts on this one.

The place sucks in general in my opinion.

Abjectly horrible. And I'm usually not that critical.

I am so glad to hear this - hubby and I walked into one about a year ago and turned around - his quote 'this is a bad idea'.

I've been to THREE different locations (1 in Florida and 2 in Virginia) and they've all been a nightmare of inept service and poorly prepared frozen seafood.

I don't believe you, I've seen their commercials, and there's lots of lobster in there :-)

What these places show in their commercials bears little resemblance to what you get. Another good example is Red Lobster; What you see isn't necessarily what you get.

Aren't potatoes always in pot pies? If not, I would expect that from a cheapo chain like Joe's.
But don't pot pies always have carrots, peas, and spuds in them?
