Any Shanghainese restaurants in SD?

More specifically, I'm suddenly craving 苔條黃魚 (tai tiao huang yu) - also known as seaweed fish beignets(?). Has anyone found a restaurant that serves this?

      Bummer! Thanks, ipsedixit.
I think I've had it at Shanghai No. 1 - definitely a good recommendation. Chang's Garden (Arcadia) also does it well. I'll check out the other place next time I'm in LA.

        No.

You need go north. There are two places in San Gabriel Valley where I've seen this dish 苔條黃魚, Shanghai No. 1 Seafood (San Gabriel) and Golden Shanghai Restaurant (Alhambra).
