FAR more than i had any right to expect at this price--both in terms of quality and quantity.

the high point:
Yellowtail carppaccio
Thin sliced yellowtail sashimi with organic spicy baby greens, jalepeno on top

the low point:
the rice

definitely will be returning there before restaurant week is over.

the SO went yesterday for dinner and also mentioned the quality of rice was not what she expected.

FWIW, the 3 chef specialty thing for the first course ended up being oyster, octopus, and monkfish liver.

Kiriko usually overperforms and tries to make each customers happy. What was so bad about the rice?

the rice was somewhat gummy

but looking at the big picture, this was a minor point.
i never expected to get this much fish of this quality for such a low price.

overall, i am more than very pleased with kiriko.
