Reservation time after Barbican show

Hi

Chowhound has been incredibly helpful to me in planning our week of dining in London. There is really only one opening in our schedule, and that is on Wednesday night after a performance at the Barbican.

Their website says that the performance starts at 19:45 and goes for 95 minutes without interval.

We are having lunch that day at Pierre Koffman, but want to go to the Wolseley after the performance. I think taxi will be the quickest way, but I've never been so don't know the availability of taxis after Barbican shows, or how long it takes to get out of the building and into transportation.

I think we should reserve for 22:00 but I would love feedback.

We will reserve for the "All Day" dining, I guess, since we probably want a snack rather than dinner at that hour.

Does this time seem reasonable?

I'd say booking for 10pm would certainly be enough time. You could probably get the tube in that time if you needed to, or hailing a cab at that time near the Barbican will be extremely easy.

For peace of mind though, and only a few £ more, Howler's idea of Addison Lee is a good one (or Green Tomato who are friendlier!) Just make sure you are crystal clear on where you are meeting them.

If you have a smart phone, download the hailo app for London. Then getting a taxi will be trivial. Or book yourself a car service, say for example Addison lee

At that time, you will be at the Wolseley in less than twenty minutes.

Oh, that's great. Our phone situation is abysmal, and the phone I use in England is not smart, but I do have a phone and a computer so I can book a car service. Thanks.
