If you don't mind the drive, try the market at Alpine Village off the 110 freeway at Torrance Blvd. I just bought three amazing hocks there. They were big and meaty, beautifully smoked and where large enough that the butcher
cut each of them through the bone which translated to about 5 thick slices each. I've since made two amazing pots of beans and still have many more to use. -
Jimenez Family Farms at the Santa Monica farmer's market occasionally has smoked and/or raw ham hocks.
