Cafe One has gone downhill since new owners took over. It's still fine if you're really into the organic thing, and willing to pay a premium for "okay" food (sometimes less than okay, truth be told).
My husband and I had a great brunch in Ft. Bragg, if you are up for heading a few miles north of Mendocino, at a place called "Cafe 1" on Main Street. It is an organic place with great turkey sausage and good strong coffee.
