Cracker Barrel in Los Angeles area

Does anyone know WHY there is not a Cracker Barrel in So Cal/ Los Angeles? Love it or hate it, it doesn't seem fair that the closest one is in Phoenix...

Probably for the same reason there are NO Red Lobsters in Maine. (Too much competition?) Perhaps you should count your blessings.

Ha! Yeah, having a CB here would be a double-edged sword! Maybe it's best left that it's a treat if I happen to be in AZ or the south?

Perhaps in AZ, but there's way too many places throughout the south that actually have fresh (not simply canned) vegetables, cobblers, etc.

Along this line, I was pleasantly surprised during a recent visit in the Orange, CA area to find a number of places serving excellent southern cuisine.

Also in San Diego, and we drive to Yuma every few months for our Cracker Barrel fix. I think a C.B., somewhere off the I-5, between LA and S.D. would be a huge hit.

There's also one in Kingman, AZ, if you're headed that way. I actually have them mapped!

It would be best closer to Ramona... :) I know they like to stay closer to major interstates though....

Hey, I'd love it in Ramona (I'm not that far away)...bet a C.B. there could even take away some Julian traffic.

How about we have tons of other mediocre national chains in LA already?

Others from back east have tried to crack the Market like Po' Folks and others and they have succeeded either.

I want to know why we don't have a Culver's, Home of the Butter Burger, here!

Not compared to the bad burger places in the same price range in CA.

I've experienced both and Po' Folks is no Cracker Barrel. The Barrel is an institution in my opinion.

Nope. None in California at all. Your best bet is Arizona. Try the Original Pancake House instead in Redondo Beach or Anaheim, you might like it even better.
