Where's Your Favorite Place to Eat in Sarasota?

With new restaurants opening and others closing, I am curious to know where your go-to places are these days.

We ate at Selva Grill one week ago. Really liked it! I also have heard Darwin's on 4th is very good as well but have not tried it yet.

Two of my favs are Indigenous (American) and Vizen (sushi).

Eight of us had dinner last night at Selva Grill and we can't stop talking about the restaurant. The service, menu selection, drinks, food, and presentation was spectacular. The restaurant was full and I must say that its better then Darwins, in many ways especially the noise level. And, this used to be Darwins restaurant.

Hi Irwin,I totally agree. We were there a few months ago and had a wonderful experience...the food was wonderful along with the service. I have always liked it there even when it was
Darwin's. A bit pricey,but worth it.

+2 for Selva Grill. Exceptional preparations, wonderful service, agreeable energy. Best piscos ever. Can't wait to return. Pricey, yes - and worth it.
