I went to Aldi to pick up ingredients for split pea & ham soup...
I have a ham bone plus about two cups of chopped ham leftover from the last ham I bought.
Except that they were clearing out their hams and it was an additional $5 off any of the whole (well, half shank or whatever) hams so I had to pick up another one. Six pounds of smoked ham for about $2.50.
The ham cycle; it never ends!
