Vegan/vegetarian friendly restaurant downtown?

Looking for a dinner place that is within walking distance of the Millenium Biltmore on South Grand. I am only finding Water Grill type of places and we don't want to go that pricey or fancy. Any suggestions? One of our party will not eat Japanese and one wont eat Mexican!

For vegetarian, Bottega Louie has decent pizza and vegetables sides. A little further away, The Gorbals has an entire "Herbivore" section of their menu (but be sure to ask if it's vegetarian, items like the Welsh Rarebit contain Worcestershire)

Vegan is a little tricky. Vietnamese is inherently vegan friendly and nearby Blossom has all the standard options (Spring Roll, Pho, Bánh Xèo...).

I would not say that Vietnamese is inherently vegan-friendly. Blossom may have options, but the things you mention will normally have animal ingredients.
