Feb. 2013 - DISH or INGREDIENT of the Month

The January Dish of the Month seemed to work reasonably well...or at least better than I had anticipated :-D

So let's try for round 2, February

Same as last month...to nominate either a DISH or an INGREDIENT for everyone to try around town during the month of February, all you simply have to do is reply to this e-mail with your nominations in CAPITAL LETTERS.

              I've been on a chile relleno kick lately. I know it's americanized and I will get blasted but I really like Garcia's rellenos. Where are your favs? And please no relleno burrito, I really can't figure out the appeal of them.

                Come with me to Veracruz and I'll buy you a chile relleno taco. Weird looking thing, but totally delicious

                  Fidels in Solana Beach does one of the best Chile rellenos..they use egg whites to fluff up and I get a scoop of sour cream.
                  With a side of beans or rice is dinner for me.

                    Egg whites is the way to go, that is the method Rick Bayless uses. Thanks for the info BC.
