Where to watch the PATS this Sunday in/around FQ?

Boston natives in town Sunday-Friday are looking to watch football. Staying on royal st in FQ. Willing to travel (we land a couple hours before 6:30 kickoff) doesn't have to be in FQ . Just looking for decent bar food/tv viewing. All suggestions welcome

  1. There's a bar Uptown that I know is a Red Sox bar, and it was my impression it embraced all the New England sports and their devout fans. It's called 45 Tchoup, and it's near Tipitina's and Dick & Jenny's on Tchoupitoulas Street just past Napoleon St. They often have food trucks parked out front.

Other more FQ places... Crescent City Brewhouse, Chart Room (no food but the best dive bar in town) Felipe's... across Canal, there's Gordon Biersch and a new place called Barcadia. Oh! Also Walk On's on Poydras. I can't speak to the food for Walk On's or Barcadia.

Honestly, you won't have much trouble finding a place. We are a big football town.

    1. Not in the Quarter, but my go-to's for game day are Tracey's on Magazine or Finn McCool's in Mid-City. Both have good food.

In the Quarter, most bars have tv's and will have the game on.

      1. The Saint Lawrence on Peters has several tvs and good food.
