Solo dinners near the Hilton?

I'm going to be staying at the Hilton in midtown (6th Ave. and 53rd) on a business trip soon. Any tips on good places within walking distance to get dinner for under $30 as a solo diner, preferably with some vegetarian options? Asian cuisine is my favorite, but I'm flexible.

Katsuhama, Szechuan Gourmet (West 56th Street), Yakitori Totto, Wondee Siam and Kyotofu are all within a short walking distance.
