Bosch Ascenta dishwasher problems--lites will not shut off

Dishwasher runs thru cycles but sanitize, sanitized and auto wash lites never turn off. Dishes also do not seem to get dry after sitting all night.
Brand new --model SHE3AR56UC/08 Called help line--appears to be some kind of contact center for Bosch and she read out of book on setting up sanitize features but could not explain how to get the lites to turn of.

We recently bought a Bosch too. I strongly recommend cascade complete and jet dry. Not 100% dry but much improved. We were using store brand detergent and dishes were not getting clean.

We had same issue with lights. May sound stupid but you just press the same button you used to turn it on. It also turns things off. Our older maytag would turn the lights off after the door was open a minute or two. We were stumped for a while when the Bosch did not turn off.

No--I will never buy another Bosch dryer. Appreciate all the replies. I am getting no where with Bosch customer service so will have to call a service tech and hope whatever the problem is--it is covered under the warranty.

On the drying issue, are you using Jet Dry (or some other rinse agent)? If not, try it. The Bosch's energy-saving technology relies on evaporative drying, not a heat-dry cycle, and is much more effective if you using a rinse-aid.

Is this thing on a dedicated circuit? Turn the breaker off/on to restart it...You can also pull the bottom panel and disconnect the white (neutral) wire, depending on your comfort level. If the lights remain on after the restart, you have a bad board...Snoopy dance, however, that it's under warranty
