[North Yorkshire] Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay

deansa Jan 16, 2013 10:59 AM

Hi all,

I'll be cycling between Whitby and Scarborough (through Robin Hood's Bay), any suggestions for good meals in the three towns? Is Magpie still good, or are there better fish restaurants?

I'm looking to try some of the famous Yorkshire chippies, but also anything else worth eating, of whatever cuisine or price point.

Thanks!

I think this place might be even better than the Magpie. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it won a big prize recently. Maybe Harters will remember. There's a lovely B&B in Whitby - let me know if you want the name.

I think Hadley's is another choice.

Cool, thanks zuriga1! I'll take a look for it when I'm there.

Always up for good B&B tips. If it's not appropriate to post here, my email's in my profile or you may already have it.
