Where demand is ruining supply

Quinoa (and asparagus, and soya) production is ruining local environments and economies due to high demand.

    Huh, interesting. I have honestly never considered where quinoa comes from. Sometimes I think I'm the only one in my city who doesn't love it - there is something about the texture that doesn't appeal. Fortunately there are so many other interesting grain options.

        Too many people who want something to eat (and cars to drive and iPads and houses, etc.) is what is ruining the environment.
