What to drink with gumbo?

Making gumbo this weekend...what should I serve to drink? Couldn't post this in wine, beer or spirits as I wasn't sure which would be best.

    A rough-hewn, raw and brawling red would suffice just fine.

        I would take the Barq's too and I am adult. But only if I can find the diet one since I can't have the real deal when it comes to soda. :(

            If not beer,or a rough-ish wine, then I default to milk..with a little ice in it as my father always did.

              "I look at them and say, you should drink any kind of wine YOU LIKE! (while taking a big swig)."

                    Thanks for the suggestions. I am making Jimmy Bannos' chicken sausage gumbo that he serves at Heaven on Seven in Chicago. I miss that spicy, thick version. Next time you are in Chicago stop and give it a try.
