Dinner suggestions for Sunday Jan. 27th for 3 downtown or west end--83 yr old is joining us so should be easy accessible and not too loud--no price limit

Mom wants to take us out for dinner to celebrate my b-day on a Sunday. Some restaurants aren't open and others are part of Winterlicious, so busy. As well, the noise factor can be a problem. Price is not a problem. Thanks.

I would change the date to Saturday and try to go to Scaramouche instead (the earlier the reservation, the better). The older crowd loves that place, and the food is great. It's a bit up-town, but the compromise will pay dividends.

Thank you--just can't be too 'funky' as my 83 yr old mom is paying and she's doesn't 'get' the 'new style' ambiance sometimes - dislikes the place before even eating.
