Top Chef product placement

I've been watching TC for years and of course the product placement tends to be one of the more heavy-handed and obnoxious elements of the show. But, I noticed this season the use of what appears to be Demeyere cookware quite a lot, and it occurred to me that I don't recall them ever using cookware as a cross-promotion vehicle. It seems like a golden opportunity to promote Calphalon or All-Clad (which I think they've done before with quick-challenge prizes) so I am mildly curious to why we're not being subjected to the lame, "...I knew I needed a good sear on my flank steak so I grabbed my Demeyere fry pan" type of TC shilling. Does anyone have any idea why they don't promote cookware or? Cutlery seems pretty obvious, since they clearly bring their own knives. Cookware, though?
