Valentine's Day Birthday Dinner Suggestion

  • 3

Hi All:

I'm a former New Yorker that will be visiting NYC for Valentine's Day/Presidents' Day weekend. I'm on the west coast but plan to eat my favorite NYC meals including sushi, bagels, NYC Chinese food, Italian (west coast is terrible), pizza, etc.

Any recommendations for a sushi Valentine's Day date? I don't want to deal with French jacked up menus, while I adore bistros. Thinking Blue Ribbon, Sushi Yasuda, Ushiwakamaru... Thanks!!!

No, it's not but it's my birthday! That's why I'm asking for help.

      Previous birthday/Valentine's meals have been:

      Aquagrill
      Sea Grill
      Blue Ribbon Sushi
      Sushi of Gari
      Raoul's
      Balthazar
      Roy's
Little Italy - hanging sausage place
      Carmine's
      Henry's End

    2. We are going to sushi Azabu but it is a prix fixe must order the omikase sort of situation. Supposed to be good, small and intimate, so I am excited to try it
