Tsujita Opening Annex Across The Street

The lines waiting to be seated at Tsujita are legendary, so Tsujita is pulling a Din Tai Fung and opening up an annex directly across the street. The new space is the former Miyata Menji Ramen location which ironically still has the Grand Opening banner up. Not clear when the new space is going to open. I believe the address is 2050 Sawtelle Blvd.

Since only Chinese restaurants in the SGV keep their "Grand Opening" signs up for more than a year, no. I don't think they even made 6 months.

Good move!
Had their Inaniwa Udon Saturday night. The three ingredients in the bowl (Udon, a flavorful broth which the server said was vegetable based, and scallions) had fantastic results. You may also want to kick it up by sprinkling some of those red chili powder available on every table. Inaniwa Udon served hot is my new simple pleasure during a cold, wintery night.

I have a feeling they will use it for night noodles. There's so much pent up demand for it.
