La Gieostra is one of the least appealing places I have ever eaten. First its a converted Denny's or IHOP that has food to match. The service is slow and rude. My suggestion is to avoid this place at all cost. Try Taste for a very fair priced and tasty lunch of dinner. Stokes has a great burger and wonderful Pork.

I ate at La Giostra in November, and while the wait was a bit long, and service slow. aside from a salad that was not to my taste I thought the food was very good. the service was friendly and the chef/owner came to our table to thank us for coming in and apologized for the wait.

I am wondering if the pressures of a new restaurant are become too much for them? have you eaten there previously? I am interested to hear from other posters about perhaps a decline? what did you order?
