has anyone tried "Himalayan" or Chinese truffles?

Saw a deal on 2oz for under $40... Obviously they aren't the super sought after top quality type, but has anyone tried these? Are they at all good?

Save your money until you can get the real thing. These are like rubber.

Not even chinese truffles are in my budget right now. Sixty minutes did a story about them early last year... apparently they're often mixed with European white truffles. The quality is far less because they aren't fully mature when harvested...
