Breakfast near West 57th Street

tommyj Jan 14, 2013 12:13 AM

We're staying on 123 West 57th street for a week and we're looking for a good diner/cafe close by to have our breakfast. We're thinking traditional american breakfast where delicious pancakes is an option.

What are your recommendations? Because we're planning to go there on a daily basis, it should be a best-value sort of thing - not too expensive.

Thank you!

NYers don't necessarily think in terms of addresses, but rather cross streets, BTW. So "57th between 6th and 7th"...

      Search is your friend

NB: I'd avoid Norma's as I think it is overpriced for what you get, and what you get isn't that great. Le Pain Quotidien, while chain, may be the easiest option. I'd also look into Sarabeth's Central Park South. Not the cheapest option but has really excellent pancakes. This is an expensive neighborhood overall, being Midtown and near Central Park.
