An Evening of Molecular Gastronomy - Anyone Going?
I haven't been to any of his workshops, but John Placko is a talented chef and really knowledgable about MC (I believe he teaches courses in it at Humber College?). I went to the Australia Day dinner last year where he was one of the chefs and his dishes were excellent, including a passionfruit pavlova dessert that I still think about.
I know the organizer and have met John a few times, there is no scam here.
I am not a fan of the company they are using for ticketing as they bill everything in US dollars then you get dinged for exchange by your credit card company, but other than that, they are legit.
